Caitlin sets sail on the Marella Discovery

Hi Everyone! Its Caitlin,

I recently Cruised with TUI Marella on The Marella Discovery, and what a fantastic time I had! 

I did the Ancient Icons Itinerary flying from Newcastle and every part of my trip was amazing, the service was impeccable from start to finish. I stayed in an Ocean View cabin Portside so I was lucky enough to see what port I was waking up in each day which made the experience that little bit more exciting for me! 

If you are new to cruising or if its your 100th time, I Would recommend Marella to you! from amazing ranges of Cocktails, fantastic specialty dining options, innovative Interties and delicious local flavor which in embodied into the menus onboard I was so impressed with the quality of the all inclusive experience with Marella.

My personal highlight was the entertainment! there is so much to do onboard its so hard to get bored! A huge selections of venues for children such as kids cubs and the hideout which was such an amazing venue for teenagers who are looking to socialize on board and have their independence to game or even just to make friends! Another great part of the entertainment was during the day there was always some sort of relaxed entertainment around the pool such as quizzes, bingo, live music! On an evening there is always something to get up to whether its seeing a Show, enjoying live music inside the Live Lounge , Sipping refreshing Cocktails in the Atrium whilst listing to soft Piano music or even heading up to the on board Night club on Deck 11, Bar11.

Another Highlight was all of the Shore excursions I got up to! I did a Jeep Safari in Limassol Cyprus, a boat trip in Alayna, Turkey across the coast, walking tours in Bodrum Turkey, and also getting to visit the Historical Ruins of Spinalonga, Crete!
