I wanted to share a little about my visit to Disneyland Paris for their incredible Musical Festival.
We travelled via Eurostar from St Pancras to Gare du Nord – a smooth and easy 2.5-hour journey with no need to fly. Our stay at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne was ideal, just a 15-minute walk from Disney Village and the parks.
We had the opportunity to explore a wide range of on-site and nearby accommodation options, and I was genuinely impressed by the variety available – there really is something to suit every guest and budget.
Although I’m not usually drawn to theme park rides, I was amazed by how much the parks have to offer beyond that. From shows and parades to character meet-and-greets and magical firework displays, every moment was truly special.
My Top Tips for Visiting Disneyland Paris –
Purchase a Meal Plan – you will save SO much and not have to worry about finding somewhere to dine and the cost of each meal!
Character Dining – We were lucky enough to have a breakfast with the Characters at Plaza Gardens, there’s no words to explain how it feels having your brekkie with Tigger at the table with you! For those with little ones it really will make that trip even more magic.
Magic Fast Track Passes – Some of the rides had a que time of over 3 hours however with the Magic Passes we were through within minutes!
Get there early for fireworks – people start gathering upto 2 hours before the show to get the best view. So get there early to avoid disappointment and make sure you grab your Champagne from Main Street.
Comfortable Footware & water bottles – We averaged at 25K steps a day, and in the 30 degree heat, these two were essential!
Download the Disneyland Paris app , you can Check park opening times & show schedules . Check the waiting times for rides , browse menus and book dining (up to 60 days before arrival) You have access to interactive park maps so you never get lost !
Photo passes , capture all your magic moments with a photo pass and have pictures of you on thrilling rides or meeting your favorite Disney character downloaded straight to your phone.
Finally…… take in every single moment, the Magic is a feeling that you will never ever forget, and believe me when I say the Disney blues are a thing!
